design process
New Collection
It all starts with a spark of inspiration. The inspiration grows into an idea.
The idea evolves into forms. Then the first forms are getting sketched onto paper. More forms arise, until a whole brand new collection appears on the paper.
Those forms need to come into shape, and for this, we use either traditional techniques, like curving special wax with hand, or working directly with metal, crafting every little detail, or we take it into the new age of 3D design & 3D printing, in order to produce a very first model or each piece. And this is only the start.
We then need to reproduce those models by imprinting them into vulcanized rubber. From there we can have exact duplicate pieces in wax. Those duplicates are positioned in a tree-like structure and through a process are casted into liquid metal.
We are still in the middle, a lot of work still needs to be done by hand. Each piece, individually, must be finally shaped, soldered and come up with its final finish, in order to complete all procedures required to complete a piece of jewelry.
The final step is when these individual jewels find their place and complement the personality of each of our customers.
