Our Store
Our store is located in the center of Kavala, North Greece. It's the place where Petros Papadopoulos and the experienced stuff, they love to communicate with our clients. Four generation tradition in jewelry, assure our deep knowledge and experience in supporting each and every need of our clients, as well as our full cooperation in the creation of unique custom made jewelry in which we specialize.
Apart from our own selective jewelry Collections, we have the honour to represent the exceptional work of other Greek and foreign jewelry designers, such as:

Our History
1922
A four generation tradition begins in 1910 at Sampsounta of Anatolia, else known as Asia Minor, where family's great grandfather Ioannis Papadopoulos first starts working with metal and precious stones. In 1922 he comes to Kavala as a refugee, where he continued making jewelry at his own workshop. Thereafter, he is teaching the secrets of his craft to his younger son Petros.
1950
Petros Papadopoulos being full of passion for his craft, starts his own career gaining recognition amongst his colleagues and the trust of his clients. Meanwhile, his two sons Ioannis & Nikos share their father's passion as they learn by his side the family’s craftsmanship.
1987
After more than 30 years in the jewelry making, Petros Papadopoulos steps aside, leaving his two sons the room to take the family’s trade to the next level. They start practicing new techniques in jewelry making and taking their workshop into retail market by opening their store.
1995
In the following decade, they collaborate with known designers and artists, breathing a contemporary air into their designs. Sea life design became their obsession which leads them to create the wider sea-inspired collection in Greece. At the same time, they participate in major jewelry fairs, which takes them into wholesale market under the brandname METALLON.
2005
They become founding members of JAW (Jewelry Art Workers), a group of Greek jewelry designers with common aim the promotion and establishment of contemporary jewelry design in Greece and abroad. Petros, the son of Nikos, joins the family business bringing his knowledge in jewelry making & management qualities.
TODAY
For over a century, the Papadopoulos family carries the jewelry craftsmanship with dedication to their clients needs while creating inspired New Collections. The METALLON family grows bigger by welcoming new members from the fields of jewelry creation & digital marketing.
